And I O really early--always have. Which was why with my younger son I was convinced there was NO way I was pregnant...DH had been gone and we didnt' have sex til CD16! I thought I was for sure past O...apparently I O'd really late that month.

You could start temping, too. Then you know for sure when you o. But no, like pp said, it's early, but not too early. Also, some women do get ovulation pain prior to ovulation, which is why it's not good to rely on it as an indication of ovulation.
