I have bald spots its that bad. I didn't know I had to seek treatment

You don't have to, but if you are making yourself bald there are behavioral therapies to help you stop, from what I understand.

It is a pain.. I use to do it all the time, but as I've gotten older, I don't do it as much. Right now my hands are free of wounds, I'm very proud of myself. It makes my husband want to vomit when he sees me do it.

Have you had anxiety problems your whole life? I know I have and that's when I think I started. I know the one time I completely stopped was when I was on a good anxiety medication. Once I quit taking it though I started again. When my anxiety gets worst my trich gets worst. After talking about this I think it's about time I go and find some sort of treatment. People can't tell I have a problem cause I just use make up to cover it up but I ALWAYS feel so self conscious I just can't stand it anymore. I wish I could be of more help. I have had anxiety problems for a loooong time, if not forever. I remember picking at my cuticles and nails as a child, to the point they bled. The more severe picking on my feet is more recent. I've had a lot of stress and issues the past few years though so that could be why I suppose.

Ya I think most people with this disorder have some sort of severe anxiety that coincides with the picking/pulling. Well lets be support buddies I know I'm really at my wits end I GOTTA stop. Kinda like AA but we will be PA!
