i couldnt pull myself into the truck

Im starting to feel less of a person and real smurffy. I have a auto immune disease where my body attacks my muscles. Its called myasthenia gravis and it sucks. i can barely hold my son at times and have to hope someone will help. Sometimes I can even take him out of his carseat. It sucks that this happened after my csection and makes me feel like im the worst parent ever. Now im out of town and have been NOWHERE for a few days and I wanted to go to buffalo wild wings with them and I couldnt even pull myself into the truck. Its like I get so far before I get stuck. I hate this I really do and as bad as this sounds I sometimes wanna die and think my son would better off without me.e

aww I am so sorry, that really sucks. Is there anything that can be done to help?

Your son won't be better off without you! He needs you in his life. I'm sorry your havin to go through this but is there anything that will make it better? Or at least manageable.

My neuro has me taking the medicine for it called mestinon but it hardly ever works. Seems like all it helps with is my breathing and swallowing. I didnt find out I had this until my son was 12 weeks which was in april so its been 3 months of me fighting this and nothing is helping. I just wish it would go away

My neuro thinks he is managing it but it seems like nothing is working it. i call him and go to appointments and tell him its not working and he just keeps trying to increase my dose. i called him monday and he said I need to go see another dr. WTF!!

I researched this because its very rare. It happens to older men rather than women. It can be permanent, some people go into a remission. One lady went into remission for 20 years where as another women went into one for 2 years. its always going to be there though. Here is a lonk on it.
