perfect weight

posted 31st Jul '12
I am trying to determine what weight is perfect for me. I am 5'7. I was thinking 150 at first but I am starting to think 165 might be better. Anyone close to that at the same height? Can I see a picture? I just want to get to the perfect weight!

Here is a chart that tells what your weight should be for your height and frame..

I am 5'5 and my "perfect" weight is 124 lbs. I am currently 142 lbs. I would post a picture, but I don't have any available on hand.

My perfect weight was 145. I'm 5' 7 1/2" I was also pretty muscled, have hips and in shape so it was great even though I was still a size 9/10. I was healthy, not that sickly looking idea people think is "perfect"

It kinda depends on your build too. I'm 5'7" and currently like 160-165lbs. I was 140ish in HS and would love to get back down to 150ish. I'd be an 8-10 at 150. I've got pretty big hips and curves

Lemme see if I have any recent pics

Right now I'm in the beginning of my weight training again. It builds muscle to burn the fat. I'm down at least 20 pounds so far. I have 40 to reach goal. I can help if you'd like! I'm on a diabetic diet. Which should be everyone's, actually. I do the juice thing or get Glucerna Shakes for meal replacement. I had a huge issue with metabolism. I hardly felt like eating, but still gained weight.. All the freaking way to 218. Lol. The best thing that's helped me is eating as little meat as possible and replacing my protein needs with different kinds of beans. I have a large variety of veggies and natural foods. I eat all the freaky smurf people see at the market and have no idea what it is. I have to have a minimum of 2000cal per day now. Before it was only averaging 1100. I workout all day long and it's easy. I try to find ways to do chores and turning them into random squats or reasons to jog/walk/run. I constantly play soccer with my kids. Having an active farm life helps too. I'm diabetic/hypothyroid. A completely healthy person can lose more than me in the same amount of time

ETA: the only things that have changed in 2 years is that I stopped breastfeeding my 1 year old a couple months ago and double calorie intake with balancing my carbs/protein/sugars. I rarely drink sugary stuff and have an addiction to weird teas lol

That's about where I am right now at 199 (a little more belly skin roll)

This was 12 wks pregnant with my 1st...so like 4.5 years ago. I'd say around 150lbs. Certainly a lot flatter abs!

I would love to look like that. I started out 7 weeks ago and have lost 25 pounds already. I still have a lot to go though. I am just trying to get my goal figured out. I am doing weight watchers now. I signed up and paid for a full year and I am hoping to get down to go by the end of that year. It would end up being about a 2 pound loss per week. Thanks everyone for all the input!
