how early did u have your baby c-section? this will be my 2n

i was wondering because i have to have another will i go into labor or will they schedule it a week or 2 before my due date? if you had a planed c section when did you have your baby and how far along where you before the dr told a date?

mine is being planned for 10 days before my due date

My other 2 csections weren't planned but my Dr told me with this one they would schedule me at 39 weeks. They said they would talk more about it once I get closer to 36 weeks.

Mine scheduled mine a week before but I ended up having both my sons early. But usually a week before is the norm.

I have to have my baby via c-section. We scheduled it at my 28 wk appt for 8 days before my due date.

My second was scheduled 1 week after my due date. I was going for a VBAC anyway so that was a plan b. I went into natural labor 1 day become my due date and ended up with an unplanned c section

unless for medical reasons.. they shoudlnt' do it before 39 weeks.

My thoughts exactly. Babies come when they are ready. An early baby isn't worth the trip to the NICU.

due dates can be off by 2 weeks either way. I pushed and pushed to hold off my section as long as possible. Because I live an hour from the hospital, and he only had one date available anyway... he did my section at 39 weeks anyway.

when my baby was born.. I was told by the nursery nurses that she was almost definitely 37 weeks not 39. If he'd done the section earlier.. she'd have been preterm.

if he was better off out than in... you wouldn't have had to push the doctor to take him early.

they scheduled it right on the day of my due date but last time i went into labor 3 days early. DR said he would scheduled it for about a week early but he didnt so now im confused
