uuugggghhh@!!! any time any one mentions tattoos...it makes me want more so bad! ever since you started this thread ive been looking at tattoos....i already know exactly what i want. just have to wait til im done breast feeding.

I've dealt with quite a few tattoo shops in my state and around here it's pretty much you get what you pay for. I've only ever known one place to be really cheap and do amazing work. Unfortunately he was only here about a year until he moved off to Texas. I was REALLY sad to see him go.

I got my tattoo from my uncles friend, who is pretty expensive. But he gave me a HUGE discount. He only asked for $30, but I absolutely hate my tattoo. I need to get it re-done.   He effed it up.

this guy that i used to hang out with is probably going to do mine his name is douglas lopretto...you should look up him on fb...his work s really great. BUT d.j minor from erie is soooo good too....like sooo good.

Most of the time with tattoos, the more expensive it is - the better quality it's going to be.

BUT! My friend Brandon is ridiculously cheap and I think he's definitely one of the best out of my hometown.

He only charged $60 for this..

I have one on my hand that was 120, and it's like the size of a lime.

  I only paid about $130 for my rib piece.

I have many tattoos, including a knee to ankle leg sleeve. All were done in my living room and all are excellent quality. But my artist is a professional and does work at a shop, she just happens to be a good friend of mine(: And none of mine were too expensive. It depends on the person doing the tattoos.

Beautiful tattoo and amazing price.. I got a sugar skull on my upper arm and it cost me about $300.

Right?! That wasn't my tattoo.. but it made me want a sugar skull! LOL.

He charged me $20 for mine.. (I gave him quite a bit more though!)

I have one tattoo that is smurfing amazing, srsly I get compliments everytime I go out, & it was done by this chick at her house (she used to work in a shop but not anymore) who charged roughly 100$ an hr. I don't think more expensive means better at all.

That's expensive dude   SO's artist charges that much and is published. But I do think people can find that one awesome person in the slew of smurf ups.

  crazy! $100 an hour is expensive out here. I freaked when I found out SO spent $900 on one tattoo   It's legit... but gawwwwd.
