Colorado shooting - couple who brought baby D&D

I apologize if this was posted before but I just read an article on CNN about the couple that brought their 4 month old baby to the Batman movie, the story was saying he proposed while they were still at the hospital.

It had a video of Piers Morgan interviewing them and them telling their side of what happened.

I will tell you what smurfing sickens me, is he said that the baby got dropped in all the commotion, but the father said he had to decide whether or not to find the baby or get out of there himself, and he chose to get out of there himself. In my eyes, he was a selfish smurfing bastard, and his girlfriend is an idiot for marrying him

I don't want to read the article, but they left the baby in the theater alone?

Yeah it has been posted before and he actually said originally that he dropped the baby because he was crying and didn't want it to draw attention to him. Yep.... couple of freaking winners there  . Oh and a 19 year old got shot helping the mother and two kids get out (they also had the woman's 4 year old DD with them).

I saw this smurf after it first happened... dudes a douche. He said he was going to go back... he smurfing left the parking lot and had to come back for him.

He's sick and I'd leave him.

The thought of a father willingly leaving a 4 month old behind in a shooting sickens me. I can't even begin to fathom.

The father did, the mother didn't, she wasn't selfish

At first, I stuck up for him. I cited various people's fight vs. flight responses and I made excuses like "maybe he was trying to draw fire away from his family".

However, as more and more of the story emerged, I found myself getting more and more upset by his actions.

I think I would have been more understanding if he had just run and hid, but the fact that he ran out of the theatre and got into his vehicle and drove away is unforgivable in my mind.

Yeah I agree, I can't put my finger on it, but there is something about him that is off

    I am speechless. I know it's impossible to say for 100% what you would do in a situation like that, but I cannot imagine leaving my child and getting myself out. OMG...

Poor baby!! I wouldn't leave (drop) my baby.

WTF how sad! He just dropped the baby and left it there to potentially die  

I don't understand how anyone could drop their baby in the middle of a shooting and decide to just bolt it out the door. They are lucky that baby is still alive.

I mean obviously IDK exactly what happened, but based off of what was put into the media and what he said it seems so messed up. I would not want to marry someone who ditched me my child and our child in the middle of a shooting. I can't imagine leaving my kid...or anyones kids really...while I just save myself. Smurf that. Maybe I am picky but I like having a guy that I know would protect me and my child, I wouldn't want someone who would just save himself.

My husband has put his life at risk before, for men he barely knew. Not a chance he'd drop our child and run.

He behaved like a coward. That's my opinion.
