If my husband did this, his ass better keep on running because he would be a dead man when I caught up with him! The guy that saved them is such a true hero. He was shot and still stopped to help them.

That's true too.

But again, I've never been in that situation & I can not imagine the thoughts running through his head. He probably feels like smurf as it is. So....

Is that how the mom got ahold of the infant again? A stranger helped?

My question is....... What are those parents doing bring a four month old baby to a movie? Yet alone a midnight showing?????? They shouldn't of even brought the baby to begin with.

A midnight movie is no place to bring a four month old baby. Get a babysitter or see the movie on a different night when you can get a babysitter.

I still don't consider it necessarily a bad thing.

Who cares? A four month old is asleep, what concern is it of yours where he sleeps? On any regular occasion he would be perfectly safe, it's not like he's in a hot car or alone in a house.

Nobody's business.

I never said it was a horrible thing but come on its only common sense not to
take a baby to a movie theater period. Its not something I would personally do because if I am going to spend the money to see a movie I personally dont want any neccessary distractions. And when that baby starts crying then yes it is my business!

I think that this topic, with this kind of tragic loss, it is completely tasteless to blame the parents. For all you know, they desperately needed a "night out", and they were responsible by bringing their child along - who would have been sleeping, I'm sure. In their mind, and in everyone's mind before this, this was a safe place & a safe situation. They did nothing wrong by bringing that child along.

They allow infants in the theater... so... can't be that bad.

But that's besides the point.

I am not saying anything about it being the parents fault at all. What I said was is that I wouldnt bring a 4 month old to a midnight movie. I never said anything bad about the parents at all people so quit tripping!

I agree with you, what is the father's fault is that he acted like a smurfing coward
