Giving birth with the amniotic sac intact is called a "veiled birth." It is very rare but it is possible. It is less painful because the water cushions the baby's head, meaning less bruising for both of you. Don't worry about the baby drowning, he or she will not take a first breath until he/she hits the air for the first time, and the placenta will continue to provide oxygen until that happens...

I am with you on this lol
I go through spurts of being perfectly content with having two kids...and then I am like OMG..I am never going to get sleep...and I have to change diapers again...and I have to go through teething again..what was I thinking?! lol

I feel like that sometimes, but I have always wanted a big family and always wanted Will to have siblings and I'm actually really excited about all of this. Plus I keep reminding Bill and myself that no baby could ever be as "bad" as Will was. Before we knew he was allergic to milk proteins he was just always crying and crying and crying and he would never let anyone put him down. Pretty much the only time he would sleep was if he was sucking on my boob and if I tried to gently pull it out of his mouth after he fell asleep he'd wake up screaming again. That went on for 6 weeks. After I cut dairy out he got a lot better but he still always wanted to be held. And he hated carriers. He was very difficult lol

Charlee was a pretty easy going baby, but she NEVER slept! She would take two 10 minute naps during the day and was up every 2 hours at night I am pretty sure I ended up a literal zombie after awhile lol

Probably doesn't happen often in the us though BC obs rupture the waters.

when will you ladies take your maternity pictures? I think i'm going to attempt to take some on my days off this week.. to have some semi cute ones before I get a huge ass bump lol then take some when i'm huge

i have my high risk appt on thurs!! so u/s
the regular dr appt nexxt week where I drink that one drink lol .. i'm so scared to see how much i weight now!

Not til march. 34ish weeks probably. I want a big belly and I want to do it outside so I want warmer weather.

Also you're still tiny! Idk why you're worried
