Can someone help please

I have a friend who asked this question
" if anyones a nurse and can tell me why my dr wants me to have a ecg sonogram and be hooked up to machines for all of my appointments from now on plllleeease let me know cuz im a little freaked out about this news."


Can someone tell me something about this?

Tell that friend to call her Doctor up and have them explain it clearly so that she can understand. There could be many reasons for the monitoring and nobody can say for sure what it is.

could be any number of things - none of which would be very good. Have her call her doctor

What i dont understand is why people dont ask their dr these questions when their dr tells them something!! Whenever my dr tells me something i always ask why. For instance my dr told a few weeks ago i had sugar in my urine. So i asked what that means...people need to ask questions!

Does it help that she went into labor at 30 weeks and was sent home after they stopped it, on bed rest??

so is she having NSTs ? or maybe biophysical profiles?

With my last 2 pregnancies I had to have NST's 3 times a week from 33-35 weeks on because of preterm labor.
