Quoting Margaret Erin Bathory:" When did you start feeling the baby move on a regular basis?? I am 18W4D today, and I don't feel much movement at all, is that normal? "Totally normal. I freaked out this pregnancy because in my last pregnancy, my DD liked to hang out against my pubic bone, so I felt her at 11 weeks, but this pregnancy I didn't really start feeling much of anything until 20 weeks. It depends on a lot of things- the baby, the position of your placenta, and if you've had any past abdominal surgeries or injuries that have deadened nerves in your belly....Hang in there. As long as your doc is getting a good hearbeat at your appointments, just remember you're good. If you're really concerned by not feeling much movement yet, go ahead and buy or rent a doppler so you can hear the heartbeat for yourself. Good luck!
