I'm trying.....

Ok so I go to the gym at least Monday-Friday and work out for two hours a day. I've been trying so hard to get rid of all of this weight but I'm having trouble. I have been trying to count calories, but to be honest I'm not sure ow many calories I should be eating daily. I'm so confused about how to diet and such. I need help! Anyone please.....
Sometimes I think I would do better if I had to be accountable to someone but my husband tells me I shouldn't diet. I'm 159.6 and I want to be 120-125. Can you help?

DON'T DIET! Just change your eating habits. Eat more fruits/veggies, cut out soda...including diet! Drink more water. Cut out majority of junk food. Those things alone will do a ton of good especially if you're working out on top of it. Don't expect instant results just stick with it for a while maybe a couple months...take pics now and pics later on to compare. Don't go by the weight on the scale go by how you feel and how your clothes fit.

Check out myfitnesspal.com it's a big help! You can enter in your weight and work out info as well as how much you want to lose and it tells you how many calories you should be eating.

You should be eating 1200-1500 calories per day with emphasis on fiber and protein.

Is there a specific reason you want to loose so much weight? As fat as dieting goes eveyone is differnt not everyones body is the same so their bodies react differently to things. I would try eating smaller meals more frequently and snack often. Cut out soda, coffee, and high fat things. If you are upping your activity you body needs the calories to burn so cutting too many out can cause your body to go into storage mode making it store more then it needs. Snack on things like nut, raisins, craisins, fruits, vegies. try to start your day with a good filling breakfast like eggs and yogurt. Lower your sodium intake cause that can cause you to retain more water weight. Try to look at what you eat in a normal day and cut out what isnt found naturally, things that are processed are worse for you then anything. Eatin lots of broccoli and spinich is good for cleaning you out which in turn stops your body from absorbing too much of the bad stuff you eat. Instead of the gym try yoga its just as intense and is less harsh on your system. seitching up your workout every week or every few days will keep your body guessing and therfore make you loose more weight. If you do the same thing all the time your body builds up a resistance of sorts and it doesnt work your body as well. good luck

Maybe start keep a food journal to know exactly what you're eating and where you need to make changes. I use Sparkpeople.com they also have apps for Iphone (possibly droid too not sure though) They have an app for recipes too and it tells you exactly what is in each serving.

I weighed between 120-125 before my babies, my babies are 11 months apart, so I never had time to lose the weight after my first. But now I'm wanting to get back to my old self. I do different classes at the gym so I am switching it up every day.

This isn't true for everyone. OP if you want to know how many calories to eat you need to see a nutritionist. I tried for years to lose weight and didn't eat many calories. Well come to find out I am one of those people who need to eat more to lose because I have such a high metabolism. My body would store everything because it was in starvation mode, once I started eating like my nutritionist wanted me to I dropped the weight. For me to lose I have to eat at least 2800 calories a day and to maintain I have to eat 3400. Not everyone is like that tho.

I'm not even sure where to find a nutritionist.
