Test results

Bout a week ago I had an animosities test done. The doctor called yesterday but I was working so she just left a voicemail to return her call. The place doesn't open until like 930 or 10. I am SUPER nervous. I've been thinking bout the results constantly. However, now that they are actually ready I don't think I am.

But I had it done because doctors have several reasons to believe she have a syndrome known as trisomy 13.

Well, hopefully that's not the case.

I feel you on this. I had my amnio done on July 5th, which was a Thursday so we had to wait all weekend for the FISH results. It was horrible. When Monday came around I felt sick all day because I knew they would be calling me at some point with the results. Of course they didn't call until like 5:30pm so I waited all damn day.

im sorry that the doc is stressing you out so much with this test. Keep in mind that these tests can be wrong and the majority of the time are. I hope that the test didnt cause you or the baby any pain. try to remember to breath and (i know it is hard not to but ) try not to get too nervous or stress too much about it. Im suprised they made you do an amnio instead of doing a 4d ultrasound to see if this was the case. It is safer and less stressfull for you. I do hope you and your baby do well and good luck. Is there a family history that they were concerned about ?

I know they call so late I knew it was going to be yesterday or today. They called round 644 pm. I was like what time do y'all close then.

At my 20 week ultrasound my ob saw some concerns sent me to a specialist, did the 4d ultrasound where things were things were confirmed. So took closer look then we did the test. It was as bad as I thought but it does leaves you in pain. I'm just glad it didn't do her any harm.

Im sorry to hear about the concerning ultrasound but glad your doc tried the ultrasound first. that means you have a great doc lookin out for you. I hope everything turns out ok for you and your LO. Blessing and prayers your way hun. Best of luck

Did they say anything else in the voicemail? My doctor left me one saying "call me back, I have some good news!" Good luck, I really hope everything is fine..did you see your baby opening its hand? That's what they searched for a lot in my ultrasounds, apperently trisomy 18 babies don't open their hands. I know its just such a stressful time. Just know that the majority of the time, nothing is wrong!
