How the hell do you lose weight?
I was diagnosed with Hypothyroid at 12, and have suffered since. I have a really hard taking my meds just because I am a scatterbrain. So on top of thyroid meds how do you lose weight?

I am vegetarian and i used to exercise alot, but never lost a pound. so eating right and exercise doesnt work.

I try to eat well and just exercise. But honestly weight dropped off me once i started taking my meds, set an alarm so u remember to take it

Thankfully im getting Insurance in Sept. so maybe I can get back on track.
Im doing a boot camp and my trainer does a metabolic work out, so I pretty much continue to burn calories all day.
Im hoping that when I get my eating under control I can drop some major poundage.

I am on top of my medication its so important.

I also am pretty strict with my diet. We don't eat gluten, refined sugar is minimum, HFCS almost zilch, I am very active I'm starting insanity but I hike with kids on my back, jog, I'm toning my arms by outside work.

I just wish I had the control and resources to eat like that. I am extremely picking and unplanned.
I think the biggest problem for me is when im not on my meds I am so lethargic, I do not want to do anything! Hopefully getting back on my medication will help.

What do you mean resources?


And control is pretty easy for me when I see pictures of how I use to look. I hate being big. I'm short and I don't carry weight well.

I'm miserable off meds. I'm having a hard time with my levels they aren't going below 50 still I'm seeing an internal medicine dr next week to get my meds worked out.

I dont know, I suck a cooking and knowing what to buy a the store. I think the kitchen and I are just no friends lol.

I am 5'3 and look horrible with all this weight on me. I want to atleast lose 50lbs before my cousins wedding in April, I just dont even know if it possible with my levels being so jacked up.

Pinterest is my friend. Lots of easy and healthy recipes on there. It's also cheaper to buy whole foods then over processed. I make awesome chicken nuggets for my kid. I can make 2-3 pounds of nuggets that are way healthier and tastier for about 7 dollars.

Nobody has a magic answer?
there is no hope for me  

OP try getting a recipe book, pick out the meals you want to cook, and then make a list of all the ingredients you will need. make yourself a meal plan.

Diet is HUGE. It won't matter if you spend hours in the gym if you eat terribly.

Im going to cut out all soda, and sweats.
Keep busting my ass at bootcamp.
Take my damn meds and do some meal planning.

Oh I know.
I just wish I could make it past the horrible head aches if I dont have at-least one.
But tomorrow will start a new day of no coke. lol
