being induced, now

Just got to the hospital at 10pm, did the paper work, got to my room, in my gown, got the monitor things hooked up to me, got my iv needle in (owe), waiting to get the cervadil (at 1-2 cm and 50 percent effaced, wasnt at, anything friday, so im happy about that). Going to post, in here throughout, kind of sad though since the husband decided to go home, but e have a toddler, and he, needs his rest so he can take care of him.

Thanks, lol, i remember learning breathing techniques for first baby, but i didn't use them at all, this time, my husband said he wants to try n help me breath through them!

LOL I was induced with my second and mister man was I glad I knew how to breath, I didn't use any of that with my first either , My first was natural 2nd was induced . I found the pains got bad around 3 or 4 cm dilated and they starting hitting one on top of the other.
are you getting an Epidural? if so it'll be better and if not... the good thing is I found the labor faster .

Yes, to the epidural, I'm to much of a wimp to do without, my first i had an epidural but it wore off

How are you progressing ? I'm getting ready to go to bed in a few minutes . Hope you have an easy labor till u get your epi and that it doesn't wear off till ur baby's in your arms!!!

Just been on.cervadil, waiting, haven't been checked or anything since i.came in

Had my little girl.took me off cervadil at about 1030, put me onpictocin, got horrible contractions one and a half minutes apart, got an epidural aroind 1250, went from 2 cm-9 cm in about 2 and a half hrs, pushed her out in about 10 min, at 129 pm, 7lbs, 7 oz
