pregnant taking ambien

do any of you take ambien? i am 30 works pregnant and take one every night, anyone else out there like me?

I didnt take that but I did take the vitamin melatoin.

yes I took it after I gave birth. I rather take that because its natural and its a vitamin.

well im talking about moms who took it while prengnant.. just trying to have someone relate with me that takes while pregnant.

I took it while pregnant and still take it every day. I wish melatonin would work for me but unfortunately....it doesn't. I also tried tylenol pm and benedryl while pregnant before the doctor prescribed Ambien, both of those gave me really bad muscle spasms.

yeah bendadryl & other stuff does not work for me either. was your baby healthy? i just dont want any problems but i know my doctor knows what he's doing i just cant help but worry but i really do need the medication for my restless legs, sleep & anxiety!! let me know if it affected your baby.

Yeah...my baby was and is very healthy. Most doctors prescribe ambien to women in early labor to help them get some rest before baby comes. I have never heard personally of any birth defects caused by Ambien...heard plenty of other stuff though..Lol.
