re: If your son/daughter came home and said they were gay..

I've said this before in these kind of discussions. My son will never have to come and tell me he's gay because he won't be brought up thinking there's any difference between gay, straight, or bi. Children don't come out as straight so why should they have to come out as gay?

See, that's what I feel. I just want it to be a "Hey, that's neat... so, what ya want for dinner?" As I said in my post. Ya know, I never came out as straight, so I really hate that people have to come out.

She will know ill support her NO MATTER WHAT.... but I hope if she is lesbian, that she doesn't really have to come out.

I mean, straight kids don't need to tell you they're straight, ritgh? lol
So I just hope she has the trust in me to tell me "Hey, see that girl over there?... I like her".
And then do my best to give her "romantic" advices, lol. I don't know.

I would be upset, but only at the loss of potential grandbabies. Who she has sex with is none of my concern, so long as she's doing it safely and not under my roof.

Probably, lol. I want to see my daughter go through the whole experience, and I want to be there for her the way my mom was for me.

But like I said, it's not really my business.
