bacterial vaginosis

I have been having reccurring BV for the last few months. I've been treating it with home remedies such as natural yogurt and 50/50 vinager and water mix.

Anyone deal with this or have any other other ideas?

I get it all the damn time, can't stand it! I've done all that too in addtion to the stuff from my gyno. I think the probiotics and the tea tree oil treatment works the best!

have your partner treated as well - you are likely being reinfected by him

Have you done antibiotics yet? That should nip it in the bud quick

And have your guy tested. He could be giving it back to you over and over

It's so gross! I'm beginning to freak about it possibly being a STD but all the syptoms point right to BV. Have you tried the garlic clove? Something about that seems weird.

I see the Dr next Thursday but would like to take it away before then.

Almost like a yeast infection you just have a fishy smell

but they can give you the bacteria that causes it - where do you think you are getting it from? toilet seats? If he is carrying a bacteria in the urethra that is being expelled with ejaculation he most certainly could be infecting you. Also the skin of the penis itself could be colonized with bacteria that your natural flora can't deal with. her should have a UA done and a culture

If it helps, I haven't had sex for awhile. I always get it after my periods.

The smell.. Itching isn'e quite as bad.

perhaps something about how you manage your period could be the issue. where are your femine products stored? do you use an instead cup?

I think once you get a round of antibiotics in ya, it'll clear up
