I'm really annoyed

I have to go and have a D&C on Thursday. When I went into the emergency room on Thursday and they did an Ultrasound(I already knew from that past Friday that I lost the baby) at like 3am, I had to go to see my OB at around 11 that morning. The midwife there didn't tell me that they still saw a sac, that even though my severe bleeding and clots and whatever else there was that was passing wasn't everything.("Oh, just come back in a week for more blood work and we will go from there") I'm so tired of bleeding, and crying and going into the damn doctor's offices getting poked every two seconds. It's enough to drive someone insane! The doctor's physician told me today about the D&C. I was bleeding light the past couple of days and now it's back to being really heavy.(no clots just stringy heavy blood) I'm on day 10(I know you can bleed for up to 6 weeks I've heard!) I'm so annoyed at my body, not only that I couldn't keep the baby but now it won't leave my body. I'm tired of missing work, I'm tired of not being normal. CRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's terrible. I'm so sorry.   I hope you never, ever have to go through this ever again. No woman should ever have to go through it to begin with. Hugs.

I'm so sorry. That's what happened to me. I bled for about 5 weeks. Found out on the 6th we lost the baby, passed the majority on the 16th, had d&c done on the 19th and didn't bleed again until 21st and it lasted until 26th. My levels are below 5 now and I am not getting a negative hpt. It will soon be over once the procedure is done. Are they numbing you or putting you to sleep? I was put to sleep. I remember being wheeled down the hall and then waking up in recovery. The only thing I remember from surgery is them putting the oxygen mask on me after it was done. I was terrified, but it really isn't anything at all.

Yes hun. They are going to be putting me to sleep. Will I be able to work the next day? I am so scared of not waking up afterwards ); ugh. Sorry. I'm really afraid. How long do you think I'll be bleeding for after the procedure? I never wanna go through this again.

That was my biggest fear too. I was crying when they were wheeling me out. They put something in my IV and before I knew it I was out. Honestly, I never slept better in my life. It was only about 45 minutes that I was back there, then it took me over an hour to wake up. I'm so tiny though, so I figured it would take longer than normal.
The day of the procedure I was up and doing normal stuff like cooking dinner and stuff like that. I didn't lift heavy things though for a couple of days.
As far as the bleeding, it's normal to bleed up to a week after the procedure the OB told me. They are still trying to figure out if my bleeding was from the procedure or what considering my levels were so low after the procedure. I'll be 2 weeks post d&c on Thursday and I've been getting neg. hpts. So it could be a week until the bleeding stops. Then anywhere up to 6 weeks to get af again.

Jesus Christ. That's horrible. Ugh. I am not going to look forward to this but at least I have some kind of an idea of what I'll be going through. I'm still scared though. Thanks a lot for your help/words/advice, It's helped me tons already  

I'm sorry you are going through this. I had a mc a month ago and still have something leftover which if i don't pass with my period i too will need a d&c. Will they not let you wait it out and see if you pass everything at your next period? I know the hospital i went to wash pushy and wanted me to get a d&c the night i went in there but i said no and when i saw my doc she said it was fine to wait until my next period to see if everything passes on it's own. I'm terrified of a d&c too
