My HSG test went great...:)

Had my HSG test this morning, it's dye injected in the cervix and it goes through the uterus and ovaries to see if they are open. Mine went great, he said my tubes are beautiful and the uterus looks great, then joked to say they just flushed out the cob webs...lol so see if this helps us get pregnant at all. It wasn't that painful, only got cramps when the dye went in...thank god. But I did take a muscle relaxant and a tylenol 3. Wish us luck.

my mother had it done with me, she was closed on one side, 10 % on the other, she got pregnant with me a month later. she said it helped ALOT getting that done or i wouldn't be here.

Glad it wasn't too painful! Mine was actually excruciating but I didn't want to tell you that, even though most people don't find it that painful.   I bet the muscle relaxer really helped with it too, I'm definitely taking one the next time I have to get an HSG or SHG!
