boy names?

I am kicking around the name Tiernan (TEER nan)
Xavier for a name
we usually do 3 names and the last name my mom suggested was Rain
what do you all think of that Teirnan Xavier Rain too far out there , stupid or beautiful?
any suggestions as to a nice 3rd name if you don't like rain for a boy( I kinda think it sounds more like a girls name)

One of my friend's named his son Thane. It rhymes if you're attached to Rain. The transition might be better. Haha.

Um no all those names are hideous especially the fist name.

I'm not usually one for the far out names lol but I actually really like this one, although think the ex-zav-ey-er pronnounciation sounds a bit weird and has a better ring to it as just zav-ey-er,

I like Xavier . I've always liked that name

I'm not too crazy about Rain, but don't have any suggestions. Tiernan is a really cute name though!  

If you like more out there names, name your son Nathan Lemuel Alistair.

That was what I was going to name my son before my baby turned out to be a girl.

And of course before everyone on my Facebook yelled WTF in unison.

I read it in a baby book and it just hit me as really different I think it's Irish I think if it's a boy that's his first name , can't see him picked on about it. the other 2 I'm iffy

DD was almost named Erin Aria Rhapsody.

I wish I would have gone with it. =[ Everyone pressured me out of it and said I was going to get her made fun of. Haha.

I like triple names too, but ehh.

Rain? Pronounced how? I do like Xavier though.

I never pictured Rain as a boys name.. Maybe Xavier as the first name, not sure about that first name does it hold any special meaning?

I think it sounds nice when Xavier is pronounced zav ey er
It just flows better to me tiernan is cute tho!
