I wish I could link you to my cousin's fb. She's one of those wives who refers to her husband command as "my lt." "my commander"  

She drives my sister and I batsmurf. My sister is a navy wife, never been in, but she KNOWS she didn't work for anything my BIL has done, that's all on him. But my cousin? Jesus H. She's the EPITOME of dumbsmurf dependapotomous.

She threw a hissy fit because she was bumped from a hop flight because the guy told her husband wasn't "really deployed." He's on TDY in korea. She flipped out and posted about it on FB. I was like uh he's not deployed. All her civilian friends jumped my ass for "being SO RUDE AND IGNORANT!!!!!"

Clearly not a single one of them knows what ignorant means.

My friend wanted me to submit the SSs I took of the bashfest I received from my cousins friends to US Army WTF.   I knew she'd get a ton of hate mail and I don't think she can handle that so I declined haha.

Living near base was one of the most obnoxious things ever.

I certainly did not fit in with most of the wives. I'm glad we're not there anymore. However, I've found that even in the "civilian" world, wives often try to boast about who they are based on who their husband is. Perhaps it's more of a personality type, some women are just more prone to live through their husbands...I don't know.
