Quoting BoogerBear's Momma:" 1) Did you choose to conceive? 2)How did you afford to take care of them being so young? 3) Did you ... [snip!] ... you still live with your parents? How did they take the news after the first one? Did they ever talked to you about prevention?"
.) I didn't want a baby that early but i also didn't take the proper precautions to prevent a pregnancy from happening either.
.) I had a loooooot of help. My mother was always there and so was one of my older sisters. If it wasn't for them helping me I don't know where my kids or I would be. However as soon as I turned 16 I got a job and took care of my kids with the little bit of money i was making.
.) No I stayed in school. I refused to let me being a teen mom get in the way of finishing school. I'll be starting online classes in the fall.
.) I think my hardest struggle was having to grow up faster than I wanted to but I wouldn't trade being their mom for anything in this world.
.) My oldest childs father was there part time during my pregnancy. one minute he was there and the next he wasn't. He is currently on child support and owes me over $18,000. my 2 girls father was always there for our first daughter and he was there for our 2nd daughter up until she was 6 months old then he went from worlds greatest dad to a deadbeat. He is also on child support but he hasn't payed since 2009. It's not hard for me to find another guy to date having 3 children it's just dating isn't what i'm focusing on at the moment.
.) I didn't get on my own until after the birth of my 5 year old daughter. It was hard but I made it happen. Even though I was 16 when I got pregnant with my 2nd child she didn't take the news of the pregnancy as bad. I don't really recall her giving me the "prevention talk" however my 2 older sister did but like most teens, in my mind I would always say yeah right that's not ever going to happen to me....well it did.
