How long?

How long do you need to use the wipes and squirt bottle? I'm 1 week 2 days pp.

I used them for about 2 weeks. Just use them until your bleeding turns to light spotting.

I stopped using one a little while ago (I'm 3 weeks PP) once I was comfortable enough to just use toilet paper again.

You use it to rinse your vagina off after and while you pee (it dilutes your urine so that it doesn't sting so much while you're peeing).

I loved the squirt bottle. I used it for little over a week or so because I was so sore from my stitches in three places. Once the pain was gone, I stopped using them. I got a lovely hemmorhoid from pushing, that was more painful than the stitches. I used Tucks wipes for those!

I say use them until you are able to comfortably wipe again. But if you can't wipe thoroughly, use the squirt bottle still. This ensure you get clean and prevents infection.

Ok, so I could have stopped using them last week then. :-) I only had one small tear and that was internal from his extra wide shoulders. He had 14 inch wide shoulders!! I think I will call the doctor's office just to make sure, but that makes sense to me. It doesn't hurt and there are no external stitches to worry about so why keep going through the drama of having to soap up those stupid wipes and all of that every time I have to pee. It is probably causing more harm than good because I hold it so that I don't have to go up stairs and go through that process all the time.
