when was your baby shower?

I'm due January 5th, I'm thinking of having mine Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 24?) because the majority of our out-of-town family will be here and then they will be able to attend the shower...thoughts?

How far before your due date was your baby shower?

Two weeks before I had him.

ETA: If the majority of your family will be there over that weekend, I think that's a great time to have it. Makes it more convenient for them to attend.

I had my baby shower at 34wks but I had it when all my family members could attend.

It was planned for when I was about 32 weeks. I went into labor at 29 and was on bed rest, so I had the shower when LO was 2 weeks old.

I was 28-29 weeks in November. We had plans to fly out of town for 2-3 weeks in December and we were nervous about snow in January. I was due February 8th, but had him on Jan 30th.

I had mine at 28 weeks because my sister was coming down to visit at that time and wouldn't be back until after I had DS so I had it a little early so she could be there. I think that is a good reason to have it then.

I'll be almost 36 weeks at my shower.   It was supposed to be sooner but everything got jacked up.

23 and 27 weeks. My mom threw the first one in CA when we went to visit and then my mil threw the latter in KY when we went to visit. They were early cause the husband and I didn't want to travel when I was too far along.

With my first it was at 36 weeks. I had her at 37 weeks.
With my second we did a 'meet the baby' party for DHs family.

I'm due Nov 26th and mine is Sept 22nd, I had my son 5 weeks early so I wanted to do mine a little bit earlier this time just in case my doctor said i'd probably have this baby early too

I wAs 29 week as didn't want to book people put for the night too close to Xmas I was due jan17th and had it oct 30th. I wa able to join in some games and was a laugh as wasn't too tired or big lol x
