They Called

My LO is going to be tested for autism, and the hospital he will be going to for the testing finally called yesterday. Its usually a 6 + month wait for an appointment, but they are able to get him in in 3! his appt is october 25th, the hospital is 2 hours away, and we have to be there by 8 am. oh well. i just want answers for my baby. pointless post thanks for reading

I was getting ready to ask this.

I was just reading a pos this morning about autism. It said "you get pregnant and it's like your going on vaction." You start preparing yourself for Paris and everything is just so wonderful! Baby comes and you end up in Holland. Everyone keeps talking about how wonderful Paris is and you say, that's where I was supposed to go, but ended up in Holland. You even start to get upset that these people got to experience Paris, but in the end you realize how beautiful Holland is and you couldn't imagine your life any other way. This is not exactly as it was written, But it has the same concept. Good luck with your liitle boy! Autistic childern are a blessing. We have 3 in our family!

he is speech delayed, he has SPD, his tantrums are outrageous, he's not really social with other children, has poor eye contact, doesnt have an interest in or play appropriately with toys

it kind of varies, its more severe in some children
