only a week and 2 days to go....

i only have a week and 2 days till my due date i want the baby out already... i might have a csection (that i dont want) on monday depends what my doctor says but i dont want that. im so uncomfortble i have heart burn, back and stomach pains and it even hurts to walk.... oh yea this is my first baby so im not really used to these things. is there anything that i can do to at least be able to last the rest of the time with out going nuts?

Taking baths are really relaxing...I took 2-3 bubble baths a day to help with the pressure and pain. If a c-section isnt medically necessary then I would ask your doctor why he/she wants to do one...tell him/her your concerns that you would rather try vaginal birth.

People are getting lazier, ohhh i need a c-section, no you dont, suck it up and quit being a baby.

the reason that he wants a csection is bc the baby is breech i go tomorrow to find out if he turned or not and im hoping he did bc iv felt the baby move and i havent really felt any pain in my ribs like i was before from his head so either her moved or he just dropped but thanks for the tip ill try that

i dont want a csection but i do agree with you that ppl are getting lazier my cousin had her baby naturally and we were talking and she was telling me that she would have rather have done it by csection... iv heard to many horror stories bout csections so i will only have one as a last resort

There are ways for the doctor to turn the baby...I have heard it is painful though, I hope your little one moved and if not maybe your doc can give the baby more time to do so since your not due for another week or so.

iv heard there are ways to im gonna ask him tomorrow but iv read that ppl have babys breeched and i had asked him and he had told me no its not safe that they only do it when its a b baby, when there are twins and the second one is being born..... i didnt even know you could have twins normally

if you think you're miserable now...imagine how you're going to feel after you've had your elective c-section and you have a baby to tend to...why not suck it up a little longer so that your recovery time after the birth may not be so uncomfortable...

i dont want a csection the only reason i might have to have one is the baby is breech i found out tomorrow if he turned or not. my sister in law had a csection and she was miserable i went with her and my babys dad to the emergency room four days after her baby was born so they could check on her stiches... i felt so bad for her.

If you read the OP's post you will see that she does not want a C-section only that she is waiting to hear if her doctor is going to order one. She is only stating that she is uncorfortable and is asking for ways to make the time pass quickly till her baby is born. If you cannot understand what someone is asking for, you should pass on jumping to conclusions-it just makes you look inconsiderate and rude.

OP-I hear your pain! Unfortunately, the closer we get the slower time seems to drag on. I also try taking warm baths to help with the aches and pains and I have my husband rub my back (which he does not do very well but the fact that he is willing to seems to help). I have also found some relief from sitting on my birthing ball and rocking back and forth to stretch those areas out-My husband let some of the air out of it so it is squishier and it seems to help more to relieve the pressure on my back and hips.

Seriously..I'm not sure if anyone is reading your entire post, and the ones after it before responding.

SOMETIMES they can turn the baby around if he's breech..and sometimes they cannot. I hope they can for you! Good luck.
