reduced movement

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and for about the past week, my baby has been moving a ton less. She still moves, but it's not the hard random kicks that last for a while, it's more like she sticks body parts different places. And I've also been getting this really weird feeling- like a flick in a particular place in my tummy, with the flicks about one-mississippi apart, lasting for a whiiile, pretty regular but sometimes it will skip one or something. Could they be hiccups? I know it's not my heartbeat because I timed it against my pulse. Is this reduced movement normal, or should I call my midwife?

Your baby is probably just getting bigger and can't make those big movements anymore, so you're just feeling shifting of body parts. As long as you get 10 movements an hour, I wouldn't stress. Yes, that does sound like hiccups...and those can count as movements as well. If you're worried, I would double-check with your doctor, but I wouldn't stress too much. Good luck  !

your babys probably just running out of room now..The farther you get alon g the less movement b/c the babys getting big and they run out of room.But if your concerned you can call your doctor and most likely they'll do a n/s test

I noticed when Addison stopped kicking so much, she was actually rolling around. Ly back and watch your belly sometimes, it'll look like a little wave. This morning i watched a foot or knee move from the bottom of my belly to the top! it was the coolest thing eva!! lol

Thank you!! There's alot of controversy over this name, some books say it means son of adam, but if you look in the girl section it means child of adam. lol Anyway..Mike's middle name is Adam so when we found the name addison we immediately fell in love with it cause in a way, we're naming her after him. We've had this name picked out since my 3rd month lol!!

My little girl's name is Natalie Jean. I'm due just a few days before you!

That's cute! Unique for me, i don't know anyone named Natalie....that's always good when pickin a name...getting one that's not too common
