nuvaring issues!!!

so i started the nuvaring in july because all other birth controls i have crazy break through bleeding. so my dr put me on the nuvaring well me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex the hole first month i was on it and i had a light 3 day period but im having all the early signs of pregnancy. im extremely tired, light headed, nausaes all the time and went a week were i couldnt even look at food and now im nausea but still eat. im also having some cramping/aching in my uterus area and many other symptoms. ive taken to home test and they both where negative but all of my friends think that i need to go get blood work done. has anyone else had these issues?

I had nuva ring for 2 days. It gave me itch and burning vag and migraines so I took it out. And I felt better within an hour. I suggest you take it out and then go back to the doctor to see about something else.

the hormones secreted by nuvaring can give u all of the symptoms u are having since they are basically concentrated in your girlie parts......did docs tell u to use another form of protection when it was inserted untill it was effective?

no he didnt tell me anything at all...but i hear of alot of people getting pregnant on the nuvaring...and this is the first time i havent had break through bleeding and i just feel all out of whack...and im extremely tried and i feel like puking all the time!!!

I would go in for a blood test.

u r supposed to use condoms for the 1st 7days after nuva ring is put in because it isnt effective right away !!!!

i have a dr appointment on 8/16 for an utra sound to check out my cyst and what not bc i have had so many issues in the past should i make an appointment before that?

if u had sex w/in the first seven days of getting the mirena then i would definately make an earlier appt w/your doc just to be sure that pregnacy hasnt occured
