re: 3 week old preemie :)

My daughter was born at 28 weeks too. She is now perfectly healthy at almost 8 mo.Anyways as far as the smell it is because she probably hasn't had a proper bath yet. I am also sure they still have the isolette humidified, right? My daughter had her stinky moments too and it was from not being bathed. She was also on cpap for a long time and that doesnt help the smell because of all of the stuff around the face and she had a beanie on all of the time so her head smelled. They can at least wipe her down with wipes or something. One of my nicu nurses used to do a mini bath right in her isolette with wipes and such.

yessss lol you said it right !! I went in last night late and asked and she smells it to she says its just the hospital and the isolation and air smell coming from the C-PAP and im like TG i though i was going crazy its not bad bad but she was like you'll know if she smell smells where her sheets need to be changed and everything and she said with of of the drooling too can smell. SO its def. that isolation and air smell i smell.
