re: Anyone due on August 31st??

Feeling huge...lots of back pain and pelvic discomfort. Many relatives are in agreement that the sweet baby girl I'm expecting has dropped some. I haven't had any checks, so Idk if I've effaced or anything. I thought by 37 weeks I would have had at least one...but nope. Not looking forward to my appointments anymore since apparently I'm just going to be weighed and have my belly felt. Just want to meet the final addition to my family!  

I am due the 28th.

I've been having pains like menstrual cramps that seem to be getting stronger every day. I went to the doc yesterday and I am 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. That all happened within a week so I'm hoping that the progress will start snowballing and that I'll go into active labor REALLY soon.

Oh I know how you feel, I'm not sure if im dialated at all or anything but i've been getting kinda crampy and my vagina feels weird pressure haha sorry tmi but idk how to explain it so I'm hoping it's doing something down there lmao I leave for vacation wednesday night, as long as I get to enjoy it with no problems he come whenever he's ready! lol

I'm due the 31st and can't wait!
Also, I feel great! Which is kinda disheartening as strange as that sounds! I want to at least be feeling SOME discomfort (other than just being big and awkward) so I can prep for the pain I'm destined to feel so soon. My midwife says it's common to feel a sort of sickness while everything is ripening and I just feel freaking awesome! Dang it! No swelling, back pain, even the bit of Braxton Hicks I was having last week were very light and have seemed to disappear this week. I'm glad that I'm sleeping great as I know that will soon end but it's my first baby and I 'd like to have a hint of what I'm in for. Oh, well.. woe is me, right? lmbo
