Fire Alarms

Ok, I could be wrong, but I thought an apartment complex was supposed to tell its residents when they were going to test out the fire alarms. I just had the shit scared out of me and my 3 year old, but my 9 month old slept through it. I had all of us in the car and evacuating before I saw the men outside and they said there was nothing to worry about. I think thats bullshit. We should have gotten a notice or something.

i think they should of given you a notice. its not like you know their testing it.

I'm pretty sure that they are suppose to go around knocking on everyones door letting them not it's just a test. I would complain because a mommy of 2 little ones shouldn't be running around in panic mode like that unless it's real!

I would think that they are supposed to tell you.. That is just cruel to let people think there is a fire...

Thats no shit. I was working out, Caleb was running around in his underwear and my littlest one was asleep. I had both of them in the car in one minute flat. Then I call the office and asked why they dont notify people and the office manager told me I should have asked before I put my kids in the car. Obviously, he doesnt have kids.
