Hysterectomy/myomectomy

Did anyone end up having an hysterectomy/myomectomy after a C-section??

Its very possible that Im going to have a C-section because of the large fibroid I have in my uterus. Since I want to get rid of the thing asap (its huge) do you think they can simply get it out at the same time?? Or is it too much trauma for one day??

I know it is not the same thing but my Dr. removed several cysts and alot of scar tissue from my ovaries when I had my c-section. I would definitly ask the doctor about it though.

Were you awake for that part of the procedure    

yes, I was awake. I had a sheet up so I couldn't see anything and I had a spinal block so I didn't feel anything but some pressure.

I dont know what scares me most... the procedure, or the spinal... 

I was terrified of the spinal tap because, I have always heard how bad an epi hurt. So everytime they touched my back, I jumped and when they finally did it, I had to laugh because it felt like a bee sting.

In all honesty it was not as bad as I was expecting. I had my daughter at 1:35 and around 9 or so that same night I was up going to the bathroom (with a little help).
