How about realizing that birth control may not work for some women? That some women may have health complications that don't allow them to use birth control? Just because you think you know other women's motivations... you post a dumbass "I can have my own opinion!" topic...

What I do not agree with is the way you went about your thread. Obviously, this is a sensitive subject and you knew you were going to be causing an uproar by your post. There is a difference between stating your opinion and being rude and condescending.

I have an unpopular decision, on most topics. Most people on here can respect people when they also show respect, regardless.

I have no issue when people want to state their opinion, but pointing a finger and saying "YOU! I am better than you because I have this stupid, misogynistic opinion! YAY!"... bad joo joo.

Although i myself do not believe abortion is the right choice for me..... I cant speak for every woman. Thats why abortion is a choice. They choose to have it done. It doesnt bother me... Its not my body or my mental state i have to worry about. Im just glad i ive in a country where women can choose life or abortion. Some countries we would probably be killed or our full term babies would be killed if we had "too many". The world isnt a perfect place... U just gotta make decisions for yourself and quit worrying about everyone else.

I wasnt rude at all. It may have been read that way but it wasnt meant that way.

One of the women who I respect so much within our church had a medical abortion only a few years ago. I can't imagine saying things to hurt her concerning this topic, I would *never* want to be put in that position. And to say things that could hurt someone...just makes me sad to see.

I agree with you as well, when you approach with respect, you often get get respect. Not always though, but usually the rude responses are coming from teenagers themselves.
