LOs breathing?

I took my daughter, 3weeks old, to her doctor cause shes been weezing n sounds kinda odd when shes breathing. She also if we lay her flat like in the crib sounds like she cant breathe n she get fussy n freaks. I was and still am wondering if shes not getting enough air or something but when the doctor asked me if she every turns blue or purple i explained that her lips n feet do from time to time. He said its normal but he asked his nurse to check LOs levels and when we, the nurse and myself, were talking i told her the same thing about her feet n lips she said its not normal for the lips to start turning colors... he said one thing but she says another which just has me still freaking out... so anyways my question is well is it actually normal for this to be happening? I mean every time they check her everything turns up as a healthy babies would be i am just so scared cause i havent seen or heard of this happening to baby unless they had health problems...

hands and feet sometimes turns colors because baby is using energy to keep vital organs warm. babies lips should never turn blue or purple. I would go to another Dr.

Get a different pediatrician...A good doctor listens to his nurse and it i NOT normal for her lips to be turning blue. At all.  

the feet and hands turning purple is normal
the lips shouldnt really be turning blue or purple. i would get a second opinoin

like the other said feet and hands are normal but lips is not, however if its the part of skin above her lip below her nose and that sometimes has a blue tinge that is just wind so thats ok.

Sadly his office, 3 different doctors, is the best but he was saying how they are so young that they are still learning n they just forget to breathe n then will thats probably it but im unsure about it... but the nurse said everything she checked is normal n healthy so i dont know if im just freaking out or what but then again my doctor as a kid, he sucked!, told my mom i was fine only to find out i had stopped breathing for minutes at a time, several times a night. When we finally found out they said i was lucky im still alive so i dont know what to believe...
