how old?

so Jake knows blue, yellow, green, red, black, white, grey, pink and purple. he's 28 months. how old was your lo when they knew their colors?

About 3, my son refuses to learn at any other pace but his own, but he is smart. I gave up after a while of trying to teach him and then all of a sudden one day he starts pointing out numbers. I was like "Where did this come from? You're playin' me", lol.

Both of mine got them all by 3, but the normal age is 4. Doctors will not test a child for color blindness before the age of 4 because their color identification development isn't fully functional until age 4.

I don't remember exactly, but I do know he knew them by his second birthday. He LOVES to learn, so it been super easy teaching him things. He catches on right away.

My DD was freaky smart, she knew all of them and more by 2, she could count to 20 and say her abcs

now my Son on the other hand will be 3 soon and knows a couple, but hes stuborn and I think he knows more than he will tell me.
He dosnt want to learn he turns eveything into a joking game. lol

lol It gets annoying but I try to be patient it was just so much easeir with DD.
the other day SO was trying to get him to count his fingers and he was doing so good then starts out 1, 2, 3 poo, pee, poo, pee....
he laughed in hystarics and so did SO but I just rolled my eyes....lol

Lol, I try to explain to my son that it's important for him to know his stuff. But he's only 5 and loves cars.

lol me too. I tried using the cars as learning toys, counting and telling me what colors they are and he just says no mamma they go Brooom Broooom.

My dd was 18 months when she knew all her colours. And could show you what was yellow black blue etc...

Cant remeber how old my 10 yr old was when she knew tho lol too long ago.

Greyhas known all of his colors like if we askrd which is black for examples.. but he finally just started saying all of them after his surgery.
