Ok now should I be concerned? TMI

posted 27th Jul '12
Ok should I be concerned? I woke up this morning .. went to the bathroom wiped and had some bright red blood .. now I thought I had my show yesterday but could it still be coming out?
I was due yesterday and last night was having some contractions .. couldnt really sleep well but like I said ended up waking up to this .. i called my doctor to see what was going on just waiting to get a call back.
What do you ladies think?

Definaty sounds like your show - dont worry, it can come in bits and pieces! And you were having contractions as well so i think its almost baby time, lucky you! Hope all goes well and congratulations!

If you're still bleeding, you need to go to L&D, they will admit you. Other than that, if you think they are real contractions, slip into a warm bath. If they are real, it will relax your body and help with the pain, once you get out it will help to make them more effective because your body is relaxed. If they are just BH, they should stop after the bath. If they are real contractions, walk, climb stairs, and if you have an exercise ball, sit on it in a squatting position and bounce up and down (this motion will not only help with the pain, but it will also move baby deeper into the birthing canal making the contractions more effective.) Other than that, listen to your OB. Good luck!
