Is $100 a good deal?

I just called to set up cable for our apartment. We've had internet for a year and a half now and netflix is boring, so I decided I wanted cable.

Our bill will be $100 a month (well $96 but w/e).

Is that a good deal for cable (includes basic cable, starz, and encore), and our high speed internet?

ours is 115$ with the Verizon FIOS and we dont get encore or starz  

That's about what we pay for Directv so I think it is a good deal.

Ours is about 127. We have a HD box and a standard box, with the Encore movie channels, and internet with Xfinity (Comcast)

I had directv and spent like $80-$90 a month.

We pay 180 and we get no starz, hbo, etc. That's for our cable,internet and phone. We do get all the channels in regular and hd though

Ours is about 100 with high speed internet... All cable basic and all cable HD... Plus whatever else hubby threw in there. But... I think its a good deal

Haha DH is always complaining that I don't watch it.. I tell him I can't tell the difference and he gets upset lol

I can tell the difference with HD, majorly. It almost hurts my eyes to watch someone else's TV that's not HD or at least, a nice TV. Like, older tube tv's KILL my eyes.

WHAAAT? I know in MD they made it impossible to do that here. All cable is digital, you NEED a box. Maybe not cable but, to get any kind of channels, you had to buy a 20 box and antenna to convert the channels.

We pay $56 for 2 basic boxes and 1 on demand basic box with 200 channels and HBO, Encore, showtime and starz.
We just got really lucky though(: and it's Comcast.
