Induced date

Got my induce date - Tuesday the 31st July

Here's hoping I go before then as I had sweep on the Tuesday past and was found to be 1cm dialated. Had been having strong contractions 6/7mins apart but stopped yesterday so took a long walk on a stony beach and wow that killed my pelvis. Getting tightenings again (not as strong contractions as tuesday or Wednesday) but not timing them as its not in my back like pervious labours. Have been having lots of funky plug colours ranging from white to bloody to clear with strings of blood. And having the 'clear out' naturally.

Any tips to speed things up? As slow labour is draining and I'm exhausted.

My gran said a 'fish supper' pmsl anyone tried that? Old wife's tales haha

Erm raspberry leaf tea, pineapple and an orgasm is supposed to help the contractions process... Expessially an orgasm - it apparently makes them alot stronger (sorry for the details!). Ive heard a hot curry can help aswell and possibly kerb walking... Although you may look like an idiot doing that!  

Lol kerb walking - is that balancing along the road on the kerb? Haha I tell my kids off for doing that. Thank you I'll try some of the above x

Aha yeah, well its like one foot on one foot off kind of thing - i tried it, almost died in the process so id recommend doing it on a very quite road, possibly at night as well! And good luck! None of it worked for me so im gutted & i dont get induced til 1st August! The wait is horrible! Congratulations on the baby  x

I'm quite clumsy so won't try it or knowing me I'll be in getting checked not due to labour but due to falling on bump haha!!!

Thanks love! I was meant to be induced on the 3rd but they are fully booked so yay for default early appointment. Congratulations on your baby!!
