Felt something but not sure what it was...

posted 27th Jul '12
Hi,
I am 17weeks, I felt something the other day but i'm not sure as I think it it too soon to feel baby kicking or anything like that. I don't know how to explain what it was like but I felt the fluttering in the same place not long after. Any ideas???

I was SURE I felt my baby's first movements at 17 weeks. My doctor told me anywhere from 16 weeks to 21 weeks is normal for the flutters. I could feel really light flutters when I was laying still. I bet that is what you are feeling! Congrats..just wait, in ten weeks, that baby will be kicking your butt! Haha.

Sorry maybe I worded that wrong i've had flutters since 15weeks and feel them often, I had thought it was too early but the midwife said it could of been though most don't with their first till they are further along. But I felt something the other day, it felt werid and I don't know how to explain it...the flutters I felt not long after it, not what I felt before that....could I of felt the baby turning around??? Still have no idea what it was and haven't felt it since.

Hope that makes sense.
