it is about time i get to meet my little angel

i got to be at the hospital at 5:45 am. i am having a c-section at 7:30 am.. i am nervous and excited.. i know i will have my baby girl in my arms today and wie will be home sunday..

I thought when someone has a c section they need to be in the hospital for 4-5 days?

no it depends on if its a repeat c-section and how the momma is doing also hospital policy.

Nope. Both of mine were scheduled. 530 in the Am. Ended up going in before time anyways because I was in labor. I guess it all depends on the doctor and hospital


ETA: feeling dumb right about now. I thought you meant be at the hospital 4-5 days BEFORE having a c section....

In that case, I was there with my first one for 4 days because I started running a fever. I was in there for 2 1/2 days with my son. it might have been 3.

(Sorry for the confusion ladies...running on about 4 hours sleep in 3 days  ... )

Its usually 72 hours. My first was 72 second was 48. Bc i was begging to go home!
