It passes the time and when you're in the hospital, you get bored as smurf sometimes. And hospital TVs sometimes suck   so why not be on here?

I just don't get how someone would be on BG while in the hospital as a patient, unless they have internet access on their phones or something...

Or online via their phone while in labor xD
I mean, how can somebody handle what's possibly the worst pain imaginable and arguing with someone on BG at the same time? This is why I slightly have to admire these women occasionally.. o_o

After DD was born, and she was napping, SO went to work, and I used my laptop to go to BG and tell people my good news and share pics. Most hospitals have wifi now.

when I was online, I wasn't arguing w/ anyone & the pains I were having were not that bad. when they were awful, no I wasn't online lol. & I brought my laptop w/ me & the hospital had free wifi.

I had to be induced 2 weeks early so from 8pm-4am when my contractions started, I was on BG and FB, bored as hell, getting advice for my upcoming labor from my BG mamma friends. And for you to come on here and post such a thread, and then accuse people of lying, makes you look like a smurf that shouldn't even be on BG.

I was on BG and myspace while I was in the hospital after having my son. I was stuck in the hospital for a little over a week after having him. The hospital that I was at had free wi-fi and my DH went and got the lap top the next morning after I went to the hospital. (We didn't know I was being induced until the next day...I was only 28 weeks.) We watched movies together and everything. I posted an update on my son and pictures of him. Although labor was pretty rough on me and I was really sick, so I didn't really get on the internet until the next day after having my son. I wished the hospital I had my first 2 babies at had free wi fi so maybe I would have had something to do! Waiting for an induction to progress or easy labors can become pretty boring after awhile, so why not get on the internet if you can?
