re: BG is serious business

Alot of the time women are using computers/cell phones while in the hospital after having the baby. Or, they're on bed rest in the hospital & are bored...... It doesn't necessarily mean they are on their death bed just because they're in the hospital.

When I had my jaw fractured (bad fight between someone I was close with) I made my roommate walk back to our apartment to get my laptop. It was seriously the only way I could cope. I helped so I didn't have to think so much about what just happened. I know a lot of people who do that.

I was on bedrest. Had nothing better to do. What's the big deal?

Some people do not have family or friends that live near them or actually feel like some of these women are their family and friends. So turning to someone you think of as a friend IRL or via Internet isn't something out of the ordinary.

Probably because when you're just sitting in a bed for 10+ hours you want something to do. I'm sure some people check their fb on their phones, others come here. Nbd.

It gets really boring in the hospital, especially before you have the baby. And sleep isn't always easy so why not come on BG?

I was on while I was at the hospital. A lot of people have good friends on this site, and it's an easy way to keep them filled in with what's going on.

Besides..when you're in labor, it can get really boring..and be really long. What's wrong with talking to some friends who have been through it or whatever?

And even after baby is there..especially if you have a c-section. You're there for a couple days. That also gets boring. And who doesn't love sharing stuff about their kids? Afterall, that IS what the sites for... -__-

If my phone has internet, I will most definitely be on BG first.

 

I was on BG while in the hospital earlier, it is boring as hell there and depressing so it is relaxing to be online

If I had a super long labor and I had my laptop I probably would get on here lol.

I'm lame like that.
