re: begging for help

Some ppl implode and commit suicide others explode and murder ppl. Something wasn't right with him and he needed help. He obviously didn't get it before it was too late. I feel bad for everyone that was involved with this. Very tragic.

Good point... I feel so awful so many good people died because of this, so many people are hurt and left to wonder why. I can't help but feel a little angry and the people who knew him, because I feel like they should have seen or noticed something.

I am even a little paranoid to go anywhere where large gatherings of ppl are. After this incident where completely innocent people were shot to death, no one in particular was targeted either. Other then batman fans. It makes you wonder what would push someone that far to murder a large group who were innocent and never done him wrong.
I hope they do more digging and get him help rather then condemn him to death.

It scares me too. I wanted to see the Batman movie but after hearing about copy-cats, I'm just going to wait to rent it on Redbox or something.

This. The more and more info that comes out the more it reminds me of Columbine. Those kids needed HELP. They had clear cries for help and no one listened. That notebook was a clear cry... this guy needs help. Does he need to be in society? Hell no. He is a very SICK individual. Is he a MEAN individual that just kills to not give a damn? No. He's sick. I really think my opinion has changed. I feel for him.It's wrong, I feel for everyone, I hurt for everyone and I feel for the situation even more knowing my friend and her girlfriend and her son were there. Thank GOD they are okay. But the guy is sick. He cried out for help, just as Eric and Dylan did, and no one listened. It's sad.

I was in another thread and everyone disagreed with me when I said he MUST be mentally ill. He is a seriously disturbed man that needs help. Did they ever say why his mother said "You have the right person?"

She was awoken by a call from a reporter and she hadn't heard anything about the shooting yet, this is how the call went...
Reporter: Hello this is blah blah and I'm looking for Arlene Holmes the mother of James Holmes
Her: Yes, you have the right person. (she was referring to herself)

I dont think we should rule out the chance of him faking insanity.

I don't agree with the death penalty in the first place...

And in this case, I, personally, think he should plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

I feel like he lost his mind, something happened and I hope they dig into it more rather than just kill him off like you all are saying. I don't know anything about a notebook, guess I'll google it   .

The article I read says the account was made 3 days before the shooting, that's when they put that "will you visit me in prison" too.

I feel for him too. When I was watching him in court, I just felt like he desperately needed a hug or something. He looked so lost.

And people are saying that he might have been drugged?
