Kind of a repost.

DS is two and half months old and he seems to get extremely angry. I lay him down and he stiffens up his body so much that his back lifts off the ground, he grunts, and his face turns bright red. He's been pretty colicky since birth and it hasn't gotten worse, just more intense as I just described. Has anyone else's baby done this? My mom is freaking me out by saying she's afraid it's something neurological.

That doesn't sound angry, that sounds like a tummy ache. Maybe he has bad gas?

He has a doc appt on Monday and I'm gonna ask. I thought it might be tummy related as well. He's on normal Similac right now and he's always been a colicky. She said he crying jags would drop off by now and it definitely hasn't so hopefully I can just switch formula and he won't act like that.

Try Nutramigen.
Kenzie's on that now and she's been perfect since.

Maybe he needs sensitive or maybe he's lactose intolerent. Do you burp him until he actually burps?

my LO does that but hes got silent reflux so i think its due to that, he also arches his back in his sleep and planks when im trying to hold him and arches his back when he feeds. he has colic too
