When my daughter is even just done playing with a TOY, instead of setting it down, it's always "Hey mom, hold this a second."

Lmao. I tell her no and that she can put it on the ground herself.

I have to agree. My son was so independent when he was 2. He didnt want me to do a thing for him. It was so depressing that he never wanted me for anything. I should have bit my tongue. Now all he wants me to do it hold him, carry him, lay with him, do EVERYTHING with him. He came in the bathroom and tried to sit on my lap while I was peeing. I want space!!

Lol this is my three year old exactly! She actually just tried to pull the blanket one on me last night!
