WIC?

How does it work? I called and they said I could apply at my age. I meant to ask the lady what I should bring. Do I need to bring my SS card? Documentation of being pregnant? ID? All information will help.

SS card, pregnancy documentation, income (pay stubs, etc), something with your current address (a light bill, or water bill, some kind of monthly bill that gets mailed to YOU).

Proof of income, id, birth certificate, and proof of pregnancy.. pretty sure.

When I applied/got on wic, i needed 1 paystub, you need ID and probably something that says what your address is

ETA: I never had to bring in proof of pregnancy or an u/s picture..nor did they have me take a pregnancy test..i guess each county/wic place is different..

They told me i had to bring proof of address, proof of income and proof of pregnancy ie ultrasound pic or letter from your doc.

I.D. proof of income, proof of residence and they will have you take a preg test while your there. and all of the above for everyone who lives with you.

You can try looking up on the wic web site...if I remember correctly I had to take ID, proof of residence, and pay stub.

I had to have my ID, proof of income, proof of residence, not sure about SS card. If you call the WIC office they can tell you what you need to take.

You will need your ID, Id bring more than one type of ID just In case.. document from any place like your docs or a planned parent hood saying you are pregnant, all the docs or pph do Is have you take a simple test an then print out a letter saying yes you are preg, an give you a rough due date.. WIC Is a great program an they can also help you with alot such as, medical, check ups, ultrasounds, dental.. If you are planning on BF you can ask them to help you get a breast pump ( they will get you one for free ) an they are actually really nice ones.   hope this helped some.

This, I learned the hard way that we needed a piece of mail so that it could prove my address and they didn't tell me over the phone so I had to get a new appt and go at a later date.

Also, if you have medicaid or food stamps, then you don't need proof of income.. just proof of that service. (and if you're pregnant, you should be able to get medicaid to help cover whatever your insurance doesn't cover, if you need to.. or if you don't have insurance).

Here they want one months proof of income, ID, and proof of pregnancy. Also a bill with your current address if the one on your ID isn't current.
