possible early labor? 39w 5d

I don't think I'm quite in labor yet.. this is my first, so it's hard to know what to expect. I'm due on Saturday (it is currently Thursday night). I went to the doctor yesterday, and I was 1 cm dilated and more than 50% effaced. She swept my membranes and last night I was experiencing a lot of pelvic pressure and stronger contractions than the normal braxton hicks that i've been getting. but they weren't consistent long enough, and they ended up going away. I was having contractions earlier during our walk, but nothing really since. But when we came back I was cramping and had diarrhea. I was wondering if anyone has any advice?? I'm more than ready to meet my lil man and not be pregnant anymore!

so i've heard! we had sex two nights ago but it really didn't do much.. planning on trying tonight to hopefully get things going more

No!!   I am now 2 days late.. I go back to the doctor on Wednesday if I don't go into labor before then.. so we will see what she says!!
