Implanion

Didn't know where to post this. Sorry.

My sister just had an emergency c-section at 33 weeks due to placenta abruption. The doctor told her that it is very likely that it will happen again in later pregnancies. Anyway, she wants semi-long term birth control. If you know anything about implanion, please share it with me. Also if you have use/used it, how was it? What are some other suggestions? BTW, she is only 19 with 1 baby so getting her tubes tied is not an option and she doesnt want to do it anyway. lol.

I'm looking into Implanon also. It lasts 3 years (can come out at any time though) This is everything she'll want/need to know about it. I have it and I love it! also, as soon as she is ready for another baby, she can pull it out and start right away. unlike depo.

I've had my implanon in for 9 months now and I love it!! I only spot a couple days a month and I haven't had any bad side effects from it!! Absolutely worth it!
