Endometriosis

What do you do for the pain? It's pretty much been constant for 13 months now and 4 doctors haven't done anything. Heating pad helps sometimes. Aleve/Advil/Tylenol does nothing. I can't deal with this anymore.

Get scraped out. The only thing that has ever remotely helped me was to have surgery and then I have relief for a year or so and getting pregnant and breast feeding. You have to be really really presistant with your doctor, after I'm done having kids I'm having my insides removed.

Have you asked them to scrap you??? The only thing that worked for me was heating pads and to use a Diva Cup instead of tampons. For some reason it helped tolerate them a little better.

The only relief I had from mine was pregnancy.
Now, I only get pain occasionally. Mostly during horrendous periods.

I got some relief after I had 2 surgeries and now I am pregnant. I am hoping that breastfeeding will assist in keeping my pain to a level that tylenol/advil can control. I am pretty sure that after I have my kids (trying for a 2nd down the road) that I will have them remove my insides. Hope things get better for you!

Thanks guys. What's a scrape? Like a d&c? I'm on birth control and get ultrasounds every 6 month to make sure my lining isn't building up. Where it hurts is just one pinpoint spot on my lower right which radiates into my back and hip.

I had endo and as you know had my insides removed. I am getting that pain again so im being referred back to my gyn. They think I have adhesions from the surgery. with my endo nothing worked for me

My doctor goes in through my belly button and removes all my endo.

Oh yea I've had that done. I had two tennis ball sized chocolate cysts on my ovaries.
